I really like Battlefield Heroes now. I paid about 20$ and upgraded my soldier (new weapons, widgets, etc.) and now that I'm up at the level of all these other guys with their uber weapons I'm kicking butt.
I totally love this game, and especially since the last few patches.

BF heroes... is it decent? Like, is the gameplay reminiscent of bf2?
No it's a completely different game. Basically you have guns that take at least one magazine to kill people, but you have abilities and if you time the abilities just right you can kill them quicker or stuff.
BF-Heroes is the ultimate customization game. You can do whatever the heck you want and model your abilities, weapons and character's clothing to your playing style. It's tons of fun, and it's FREE.
If you pay money you can get better clothing and weapons though.

Total customization sounds good though. I heard there are planes modeled after the messerschmitt bf109 which interests me
