I don't think they've heard of Valve.

Huge updates with maps as a kinda "afterthought". For free.

I know the updates usually spew out shit unlocks, but it's the thought that counts.

$15 or so down here.
I saw what maps they had to offer and I lol'd.

Perhaps its called the 'stimulus package' for IWs crippling employment crisis. They might need to build up the money to hire new people, lol.

A some point is will become free but probably not for everyone that already has the game. Take Resident Evil 5 for example. When I got the game it was new. Now the copy sold on the in stores comes with all the DLC already included and the price is not much different then it was when I got it.
