I ride my imaginary motorbike since I'm currently between bikes.

It said he was in Brisbane which sounds totally British.FloppY_ wrote:

Nah, it's a Lancer. That one ^^ there is the 4 door, mine's the coupe.
We have Colts here too, they're definitely a different car.
The rims are a bit uncomfortable but I'm pretty used to them now. The shock absorbers are heavy duty ones to compensate for the lowering of the car.
Why someone would both spening that kind of money on something as cheap as my car (mainly due to it being now 17 years old) escapes me.

Whatever they chose to call it, it is still a colt with a tail, NOT a lancer... Lancers have allways been 4door saloons...
Are you in the US? that would explain alot because of the retarded naming of foreign cars there...

I know my car, it's a Lancer. Why do I need to try to convince you people that I know what I'm talking about? My mechanic is a Mitsubishi specialist and has been for 20 years, when I call him I say "it's Jake" and he replies "yeah, with the white Lancer coupe, yeah?"
I have 2 workmates whom have similar years to my car, they both have 2 door lancers. One of my best mate's fiance, she drives a 2 door lancer and has for the past 5 years or so.

No, it's a Lancer. Ask anyone here and they'll tell you the same, including the fucking Mitsubishi dealership. Maybe a Colt is a rebranded Lancer with a hatch back instead of the coupe? Huh, huh??FloppY_ wrote:

I do, you can get tons of other cars on coupe, sedan or hatch versions but they don't change names between them...Jaekus wrote:

This is a colt from the same year. Notice it's a hatch, and mine's a coupe? Do you even know what the difference between a hatch and a coupe is??

Yeah, I don't know why I bother trying to tell someone who can't be bothered googling this shit for themselves.
Never said you could get all cars in all different types... I know for sure that Lancers are saloons / estates (and the latest one a "sportsback")Jaekus wrote:
LOL you say you can get cars in different types, then go onto say a Lancer is one type. Kinda contradicting yourself there.
Anyway, I know what my car is, it's a Lancer, if you think it's a Colt then you are wrong, plain and simple.

T'is a colt
The front half of the car is all standard colt parts, the tail has just been added... Don't care what or why mitsu decided to rename it, but it is a colt indeed...
Well maybe you should write to Mitsubishi and tell them they've been calling what is a Colt a Lancer for the past 17+ years. I'm sure they'll be happy to hear from you and decide to change the name of the make on all used car sales for this new information.FloppY_ wrote:
