Excuse me? Didn't the french save the US' arse in the civil war???

Yeah so ?
You were implying the french were useless...

And we all know you love the US...
it was the war for independence, Floppy - late 1700's. u.s. civil war was 1860's.

I know the French aren't useless, I was joking. The French had resistance that did a great job and they were courageous men.

Madagascar - 5/10. Some occasional mild laughs and good animation but really not up to the hype I'd heard about it. The monkeys and the penguins were by far the best parts. "Meh" is my ultimate judgment.

The Negotiator - 7/10
Good ol' Sam Jackson and Kevin Spacey, but the film had serious pacing issues. Took too long to get going, when it finally did get going it went by way too quickly, and then dragged at the end.

Super Troopers 6/10. Chuckled a little here and there, but it was mostly pretty stupid, and not in a funny way. Dunno why I expected anything different since I hated Beer Fest too.

10/10 a cinematic masterpiece.

We discovered Jack Black has a non-speaking role as one of the Scraps.

Terminator 2 10/10

Hand's down one of the best sci-fi and action flicks ever made.

And the ending nearly always makes me cry.

The Battle of Algiers 8/10

Classic Film, although a bit lacking in terms of emotional attachment to characters.

Avatar in 3D

8/10

Speshul effects were ++

Plot: Well. Gotta sell somehow, right? But tbh there's not a wide selection of plots one can do for such a movie so I'm not going to start whining about it being sappy and shit.

So is the bluray version a 3D movie just waiting for proper equipment?

Unless yo got a PS3, then its apparently just a firmware update. TV and googles (yes googles) remain, although I did hear of a 3D TV that didn't need them.
