Hey Guys,

Im trying to set up a LAN game with my friend.  We can connect through creat local but once we get in the game the person that did not createt the local server ends up getting a ping of about 1000 and we cant play.  This happens with all games and through a gub and a router.  Any suggestions?

Yeap unless you have badass PC thats prety much what will happen Bro, your best bet would be hiring unranked server, u can get them really really cheap. There are min req for Lan games, I will see if I can find the Info and will post back bro. Peace Boris

You really need to set one computer as the dedicated server and not attempt to run the client on that computer. For your setup that means 3 computers. Basically any computer can run a server. Its all cpu/memory/harddrive, and most computers can do that.

Yeah, we both have amd athlon xp 3800, ati radeon x850 pro, and a gig of memory.  Maybe I should just hire an unranked server or even make a third computer my server.  I'll figure something out, thanks guys.
