Remember this is the whole media, i.e not just radio but each radio station. Not just TV but every TV channel - every relevant one anyway. It's a pretty big thing to cover so companies like Media Monitors exist so different organisations don't have to spend a massive amount of resources on checking the news and public opinion and junk.

I hate it when something happens on TV or radio or something, and some people complain for whatever reason, and then the whole thing is blown out of proportion. So if like 100 people complain about something, suddenly that's considered a serious case. Nobody seems to bother to look up what the total viewership was and what % of those actually complained, usually it's in the sub 1% range even if hundreds complained.

tl;dr - ofcom always blow things out of proportion, presumably to justify and continue their own existence as a government corporation

So I wound up glueing it anyway, despite protests from some of my more medically inclined friends... It hurts and moves less. That's being filed under a win I think.
