nixon lived about 20 miles from where i grew up and live. There was a bitter family feud over his estate and the nixon library (presidential library that has historic documents and other nostalgia) that played out in the local newspapers when i was younger.

Sounds like it's one of those things where someone that is held on a pedestal for being infamous or famous, an icon of popular culture for whatever reason is shown to be human. Like his hard candy shell is stripped to expose his soft, chewy human side.

If nixon were a skittle he'd probably be grape.
