ok, so some of you may have heard about changing the latency compensation ingame, done by using the following command after pressing ` :

SettingsManager.floatSet GSDefaultLatencyCompensation 0.050 (for a ping of 50)

once i have done this, is there any way to make this the deafult latency compensation so i dont have to enter this command every time i start BF2??

just edit that file.
do the same for the xpack or another mods or addons u have.

pb_writecfg is the only1 i know to save but that is for pb checks

thanks for the quick replies! it seems like the game updates the latency compensation every once in a while on its own, because when i went to

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Settings\UserSettings.con

the latency compensation was 0.019, which is what my ping is on my favourite server
