Have fun then. I studied this in college (drugs and alcohol class) and the norm is for alcohol to amplify the person's mood. The US has a different phenomenon which occurs when males drink -we tend to get rowdy. As alcohol is a depressant and in most other cultures it typically causes the people to chill out. I know a guy who is one of those people that makes you wonder why alcohol is classified as a depressant. He turns into a 100mph drinking machine once he's drunk.
