Then don't play Battlefield Heroes

I hope Bad Company 2 doesn't turn worse than it already is.

I don't, but that's a bit different since it's a free game to begin with. If you buy a $40-60 game and then people can buy better weapons, but you can't earn them for free, that's just bullshit.

Oh, so they are just flipping us off with recent footage. Super cool DICE.

I really don't understand the rationale behind not giving the G3 and M14 optics. It's not like they'd be any more OP than the AN-94, M60 or CG. And I don't think they'd be OP anyway, just way easier to use, especially the M14 with its grotesque iron sights.
Because it would turn every class into snipers. The M14 does the same damage as the T88, is 20 RPM faster and this is balanced by not having optics.

I really don't understand why people are so obsessed with the M14.

I used to be proud to say that i played DICE games instead of CoD ones, now there is hardly a difference between the two companies.

The day DICE charges money for a map/skin pack for the PC is the day I stop buying DICE products... Stuff like that should be free DLC for PCs tbh

So the only money they should make is from initial release? What motivation does any company have to provide support then? I know everyone liked the free support that kept BF2 playable for six years but it was a rather stupid business decision on their part.

That's why you, oh idk, keep making games? You act like DICE should just make BFBC2, then not do anything except making patches for the game.

And as it's been proven, DICE keeping BF2 playable for 6 years didn't exactly backfire did it? In fact, I would venture to say that helped them sell more BC2 games

Edit: Forgot about the booster packs they made, as RTHKI pointed out. There's always that option.

No, I wasn't saying that at all. I'm saying that if he wants continued support, he has to be willing to pay for stuff like map packs. If they aren't making any money off of the game they currently have out, why would they not drop support and just focus on putting new games out? That was my point.

Oh I see what your saying. Well that argument would make sense if they would start giving us NEW maps, rather than the same maps in different game modes, which they had to have already made before the game came out.

But that's a whole other argument.

So when I fire slugs into a guy and blood spews from his body he will actually die?

/assumption that DICE actually can fix the bad hitreg, unlike in BF2 where it took them 20 patches before fixing it at all, and still even not enough

I've totally forgotten about this game. This update may be the be-all end-all of updates, but I'd still only wind up playing it a day and then quitting again.

I hope they don't give PC players the gay auto-aim crap that console players have.

Compare other studios, Valve adds ton of content to their games post-release for no extra cost....

Bethesda made four very good boosters for fallout3 and charged 800mspoints each which is fair for the amount of content added...

Dice makes 5 new skins and charges 15bucks? That's just beeing greedy tbh... I can understand it on consoles, because they have to pay revenue to microsoft/sony for using their network platforms...

Srsly, developers these days are getting greedy...

It sure doesn't feel like there's an auto aim or aim assist on the PS3, then again I might of disabled it. I remember seeing it in the menu, but thought it was only for single player.

I think aiming with a mouse is a lot easier than with a console controller joystick.

Yeah, like headshot sniping on console.

Aim assist is definitely there. When I was playing my brothers PS3 the aim was very 'sticky'.

Also this month, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Kit Shortcuts will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for those players who don't have time to spend levelling up to unlock all the kit specific items but still want to be competitive with those who have unlocked everything. The Kit Shortcuts will give you the unlocks available for kit each kit while still allowing you to progress through the ranking system as normal and will be available for 560 MS Points/$6.99 individually or if you want the whole bundle of kit shortcuts including the 7 available vehicle unlocks, 1600 MS Points on Xbox Live and $19.99/17.99€. The Kit Shortcuts will be available on Xbox Live Worldwide and European PlayStation Network from 16th June with the North American PlayStation Network having access to the shortcuts from 22nd June.
You can now pay to get the good weapons (on the consoles), instead of "earning" them.  What do you think about that?
pssh. took me less than 2 weeks to unlock em all. Only tards with no skills would buy that.

Extra content used to be in an add-on game. Examples of this would be Delta Force Black Hawk Down adding Team Sabre with new weapons and maps.

Now you guys have a sense of entitlement, that because you're part of the "Elite" PC crowd, DICE, a business that needs money to survive owes you free content.
And above your tomb, the stars will belong to us.
