Tazz's Wonderful day. 17/6/2010

I woke up this morning stressing about the exam i had coming up at 6pm. I sighed a sigh of relief when the concept of having vast amounts of time to study was evident. (Aprox 7-8 hours). I got up, grabbed some breakfast, rugged up in a couple of jumpers, and headed over to the computer. The exam i had coming was Programming Concepts. Overall it's pretty much C# basics with a huge arse falcom puncher question at the end on object orientated. Anyways, I booted up, no issues, thank jesus.

The amount of god-dam PC issues I've had recently is nothing short of a 10 foot pole stuck up your enemies arse who is stuck down your throat. I mean seriously. First i've had to RMA my shithouse ram because of cold boot issues. And this is all the way to taiwan, etc. The apon re-building the PC with the old mobo and the E6600, due to not having any spare ddr3 ram, i've had more ram issues, blue screens etc. I came to the conclusion that it was infact the DIMMs were not seated correctly, but hey, i'm currently running stable.

So i booted up, started to install Visual Studio 2010. Sweet jesus is this a hassle. Like anything made by the shitstorm that is microaids, the piece of shit first wouldn't start. That is, the installer wouldn't load. Yes this is actually a genuine copy that i may of got from a certain microaids site and got for free due to being a uni student. nfi what the site is......
....brb, to gmail to get the site <3
...Here it is: https://www.dreamspark.com/
..so i restart the comp and try again. This time she works. I start watching zero punctuation as it installs, and chuckle over his review on red redemption. I found the concept of 10-15 hours gameplay very small for a rockstar game, considering i'm only half way through GTA4 and it's about 40-50 hours in.
I guess he is a game reviewer and steamrolls it like i do your mum.. so whatevs. Plus the no PC development is a bummer.
So Visual Studio installed, i built some previous labs to get all up and down the course like i know you liek to do
Did the past paper, and by that time it was time to go. Jumped in the car, drove 70km to uni, and went into the exam room. Exam was pretty easy, almost the same as 2009 with a lil twist on each question to make it different ofcourse.. Kept getting distracted by this sheila up infront. I tried to ponder why this glorious individual was doing such a course as Programming Concepts. Burnett etc, picture hawtness with.... you got it.
I finish with about an hour to go, so i check over all my hand writen code, death, find a few ";" i've missed, and a couple of missing curleys "{/}", so i finish up and walk out, let out a lil chirp of happiness, as it was my last exam for the semester
Head back home, another 70km, and jump back on my PC where i attempt to write a few userscripts and giveup. Mainly because i found alternative methods.
Play a bit of BF2 infantry, always fun, and then i come onto BF2s to watch all your filth eat away at my healthy mindset.
Thanks for reading <3
