Ye was rooting for Cameroon, but at least it was a good game.  I'll be happy with a few more like that.

The two goals for Denmark were well deserved on the quality of the goals themselves, but the whole "let's either not clear the ball, or run half-way up the pitch and pass the ball to a Cameroon player for no good reason" thing got them the opposition that they deserved.

In the end, Cameroon shot way past the net twice as many times as they actually hit within the frame. Having twice as many shots on goal does not make you deserving of a win if you only get as many shots that are actually on target as your opposition does.

The England team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa this morning.........

To any New Zealand fans - do you guys remember Mick Waitt?  Think he was the manager from 2002-2004?  Here's my claim to fame----I used to have kick abouts with him in my back yard when I was a kid.  Granted, it's not much of a claim, but how many people can say they kicked a ball with an international manager?

I delivered a telly to Marlon Harewoods house once.  He gave me a £20 tip!  Also saw Des Walker in his mini at the traffic lights once....smoking a spliff.

France should be ashamed of themselves. They cheated Ireland out of a WC place and then put in a piss poor performance.

France won legitimately, Ireland were offered a replay on a ps3 but they declined so they can go do one.

the situation is so clear for england (win or bust) that it's hard to see how they'd cock it up against slovenia
