That was part of the enigma of the TV series. They devised a plan so incredible it defeated the bad guys within the last 15 minutes of the show.War Man wrote:

I really got into the A Team back when I was about 14, bought the first 4 seasons on DVD. Obviously it's a little before my time really, but I still absolutely love the TV show, and always watch repeats when it's on TV.

I watched the A-Team religiously. The first gun fight scene in the movie was a tribute to the TV show. Hannibal busted out of the van, firing a full magazine from a mini-14, and not hit anyone @ point blank range
