On topic: there are no dedicated servers. Thus MW2 'servers' ip addresses are similar to the ones hosting the game.

They don't have dedicated servers but there is something that everyone connects to for stats tracking, at least there is on console. Its also what determines who the host is. Even though the game play is not run from dedicated servers some aspect of the game are.
