For some reason YouTube will stop buffering say 30s into a clip. I can then click on the time bar and it'll load from that point, for another 30s or so befre getting stuck again. Now what I want to know is, why the fuck is it doing this, and how can I stop it? It's only started doing it recently, but I haven't changed anything. There are reports on Google of this, but no one seems to have a solution. FYI Opera does the same thing, so it's not the browser and clearing cookies + cache doesn't change anything. It doesn't do this all the time, it seems to vary from session to session. But usually closing the browser doesn't fix it. Halps plz.
I had a youtube issue recently, it was solved by updating my vid card drivers. Dunno if it's related though, but worth a shot?
Reinstall flash?
Oh shit, this was supposed to be in Tech. Mods, move plz?
I've noticed this happens on a lot of the streaming porn sites, a fix would be much appreciated.
Fuck Israel
Tried reinstalling Flash to no avail. I've been meaning to reinstall my OS for a while anyway so I guess we'll see if that fixes it.
Sounds to me like it's not being allowed either enough RAM or HDD. This has happened to me in the past, when my main hard-drive was full it'd only be able to buffer a certain amount. Sometimes stuff gets played from the ram afaik though, so how much do you have and how much is being used?
I've got 4Gb of RAM, and 300 odd Gb of spare space on my OS drive. That isn't the issue. It's a mystery.
