I've searched the forums, and the closest I could find was the key unbinding thing, but this is entirely different. 

At the start of a round you can spawn normally, but when you move the mouse the view instantly recenters, and when you hold down keys you don't move at all.  This happened to me twice in about 2 days on different servers.

Anyone else experienced this bug recently?  I know at least one other person on the BF2s european server had this happen last night, and the only way either of us could move again was to disconnect and rejoin.

Before when it happened someone told me go prone and it let me start moving again, but this doesn't seem to work any more.

I've had it happen a few times too, not at the first spawn but at a respawn and nothing would fix it. Had to disconnect.

I think I might have quit the game and restarted just to be on the safe side too; like when the floating flags disappear, it persists from game to game even on different servers so restarting is the only fix for me.

It happened to me once too, i had to disconnect. I could turn though, just couldn't move and was lower down (like my legs were buried)

Todd - what do you mean by the floating flags? There's a key to toggle them on and off if you mean the CP icons you see.

Yes, I am this guy, it is extremely annoying, I went to options all the keys were still mapped, the only thing possible was to reconnect...

The ones visible in the first-person view... ah, so that's what 3D Map means! Problem is I have a key bound to this that I would have thought it was impossible to hit by accident but maybe in the heat of battle... I'll unbind that sucker and hopefully I won't get a repeat.
