I was just wondering the best way to get the 45 IAR points to get my Valorous Unit Ribbon.
I would usually get this playing Medic on Iron Gator but WTF no one plays Iron Gator anymore!!!

Why is this?? I loved Iron Gator, and now i am screwed because it seems gator was my only shot at 45 IAR points.

Any help/pointers? 

I have all the hour reqs I just need the IAR points!!! aaghhhhhhhhh i miss gator soo much.

If you're talking about the Valorous Merit Ribbon, I think it only applies to the regular BF2 gameplay and not SF.

There's about 200 Karkand servers you can medic whore on to get your 45 team pts.

yea i know its not too hard...but my computer has been laggin like crazy lately since Vista eats up so much memory and my all my hard drives are full (after cleanup even) so i was trying to avoid karkand and go on a level like gator where less players = less lag.

ive done it plenty of times but i forgot that it probably wont work on SF so ill just try my chances medic whoring...thanks

any other tips appreciated too

You could always feed ammo to the grenade spammers if the lag gets too bad.

Lag is either to due to insufficient hardware or a poor connection.  Try to pick servers that have a <50 ping.

It depends on where you are (as I'm sure you're well aware). Under 50 is great but under 100 is certainly not bad either.

Are you serious dude? Iron Gator is one of the laggiest maps in BF2. With so much going on in such a small area, any server that's half full will cause your framerate to plummet.
But yea, just medic whore or go support and spam ammo packs. Also, make sure you get on the flags when they're being capped, each one will net you 1-2 points and they'll add up quickly.

Yea i dunno I just remember kicking butt on Iron Gator. I think there were more servers where my ping wasnt that high on gator i dunno...but it seems nowadays my ping is high no matter where I go (like 150+) . I remember being able to get 200+ points per round on lower player servers on Gator

i just started playing bf2 again and it just seems not as many play anymore. I remember like at least 3-4 good gator games and plenty of full wake games...I guess all the other games out have people goin separate ways...

Find a server running Songhua or Mashtuur with only 10 - 12 players and pilot the chopper from flag to flag.
You're always up for the max points per flag because the pilot always gets there first.
I've managed a few rounds with over 100 team points by this method.
