"Official" Threads

I'm sick of them. I dislike creating a new topic only to be redirected to a thread 120 pages long that has been dead for a month. I like being able to sort through people's comments and postings by thread, exactly the way a forum should be, not by 110 pages of shit I have to sift through to find the pertinent information/post.

There are a couple that we do need, but more than 90% should never have come into existence.

Who's with me?

EDIT- could a mod fix the title for me? I missed a key.
