the title says it all.
this computer that i had built today wont wont past the p5kc mobo screen.
i have tried 1 ram stick, different sticks (2gb, 1gb) different PSU, video card, HDD.
the only thing i have not tried differently is mobo and cpu.

the component of this pc are really not brand new, they have been in my room for about 2 years

specs
cpu: intel  e5200 dual core
mobo:asus p5kc
ram: 2GB OCZ 800mhz
GPU: nvidia 8800gts
PSU: 460W coolermaster
HDD: 500GB WD black

try unplugging and re=plugging the Mobo power cable that goes to your drives n stuff

you could try removing the battery no the mobo to flush any bios settings.

well, is there anything it can boot to? Tried booting to a windows or linux CD/USB?

If you aren't getting any beeps or even the bios screen, it is likely the mobo or power supply.

i've tried my PSU ( the one i'm using for my PC) it's a corsair 520HX which should be more than enough for this setup that i built but there was no fix for it even using my PSU.
