In my humble opinion the word "marriage" should be stricken from the law books and replaced with "civil union".  I don't care that two men or two women want to have a "civil union" - there are more important things to me like jobs and economic growth (this is like second to last on the things I care about).

"Marriage", to me, is a covenant between a man, a woman, and God.

Quite so, because God as an entity isn't really a legal person anyway.
