I have a bunch of duplicate songs in my itunes library that I would like to get rid of.  However, I would also like for the dupes to be deleted from my hard drive as well.  Is there a way that I can easily select the duplicate songs in itunes, then right click and delete?  How would be the best way to go about managing my music?

Delete every other file since it shows both copies so you can't just select all.

you have to watch out though, iTunes holds both 128kbps rips and a duplicate of a higher kbps, you want to delete the 128kbps rips, and keep the better ones.

This applies to any bit rates, just an fyi.

Would be sensible to keep the highest quality files. Common bitrates are:

128kbps
192kbps
256kpbs
320kbps

and

V2 VBR
V0 VBR

(VBR = variable bit rate)
