Got my veteran engineer after 10 repair points (which took me forevor on a LONG Karkand map) and I didn't feel like waiting out the rest of the 150+ tickets still left (it's late and I have classes tomorrow). To my shock and horror, after I disconnected, the badge wasn't there.

Came back later and the round was still going (had it saved in my favorites). Saw that it ended a couple minutes later after a refresh and VOILA. The badge had appeared.

I don't think this was a coincidence, so it's safe to say if you leave a round early and don't see your awards. They'll probably register AFTER the round ends.

Probably a dupe of a topic somewhere, but maybe this will help inform those who don't already know and reduce some stress for people who earned those hard to earn ones and left prematurely because of the excitement.

Yeah... it's well known that you have to complete a round to recieve the badge.

But in your case, it wouldn't have happened anyway. All stats are sent to EA at the END of the round - so anything you got midway through wouldn't have been registered until after the round finishes.

I'm almost sertain that I have gotten awards even though I have desconnected from the server mid round.

You do not have to stay in the server until the end of the round to receive stats or awards. The only determining factor is that the SERVER must finish that round as it only reports stats at the end of rounds.

haha... ya prolly... but hey, I earned the bit of experience that changed that...

I played this game when it first came out, but only to like 2500 points then quit and went back to AA. I just started up about a month ago again and got myself to 11,500. Making good progress in my free time. Been kind of out of the loop.

ah great in my early days i had a few badges that didt come it maded me pissed off but i got them now any way so dont care any more ( i only get pissed if i dont get some of me expert badges where i worked hard for no not the 40 kills that's easy stuff )

i thought you had to finish the round because everytime i leave scores kills and deaths are recorded but not awards, i think thats why it says "You have been RECOMMENDED for an award" and thats how pple(like me) got away from getting 2 purple hearts
