Harry Brown - 8.5/10. Not brilliant but a solid film.
Yes, UK sink estates really are like that....
Wondering if 'Three Lions' is worth seeing, suspect they've used up all the jokes in the trailers too - but I'll see it just for the coffee and the icecream.
Ok four lions ......
Fuck Israel
Ya I saw that, worth a watch, not on par with Harry Brown though.
Hmm, well I guess people remember things better than what they were, so perhaps it is at Harry Browns level. I need to rewatch HB and Gran Torino anyway.

Yes, I grew up in the 80's as well as watched Ski Patrol, Hot Dog the movie, and maybe some other ski movie that followed.FEOS wrote:

Watch the Movie Trailer(s) to save time and money
Did you spend much time in the 80s?
All of them had T&A which is what I Hot Tub might have.
The funny parts of the "hot tub" were shown in the trailer so it wasn't funny the 2nd/3rd time around.
One plus side, they played one of my favorite Crue songs

Vanilla sky
Can't believe I've never seen it before, thought it was probably cruises best though that's not saying much. Sex scene with cameron diaz was bonerific, as was the ending.
when it came out probably 7.5/10
now, 7/10

Blood works
9.5 out of ten, loved the serial killer portrayal, it was actually pretty believable. There was the pattern, the insanity, ...etc. Was kind of creepy when you realized who the killer was.
Gran turismo 8.5 out of ten, sad ending
Iron man (seen it before, rewatched it as a refresher 10/10)

I only had a shitty cam rip to go on, so that clouded my judgement somewhat. That said, far and away the best Predators reboot; I actually enjoyed it. Yes the plot was crap, and didn't always make sense, but you've gotta remember that the first one was the same. Topher Grace made a very unconvincing Spoiler (highlight to read):
serial killer, but Adrien Brody pulled off bad-ass better than expected. Obviously from the start you can pretty much tell who the survivors are, but that's always the case with such movies. It's never going to be as good as the original, but in all, not a bad effort.

You lose so much going from cinema to DVD, why even bother watching a cam rip?ghettoperson wrote:

Very funny, good action scenes. Zoe Saldana had no point in being in the movie, but meh. Worth a watch for sure.

I love Jack Nicholson's acting no mater what role he plays. Still doesn't make up for the shit ending though

Mostly because I wasn't *that* bothered about seeing it, and going to the movies is a lot of effort. And I'm broke.Dilbert_X wrote:

I don't really think that with today's tech, you lose too much by not going to the theater. Sit in back and it looks like a small screen, sit in front and you're looking up at a sharp angle. I mostly go because reald 3d is awesome and I don't have the patience to wait for some movies on video.ghettoperson wrote:
