I wanna visit you guys and show you how to shoot.
Rezero at 100yds (or 300yds), then..
We'll be starting out at 715yds, due West to target, 3750ft altitude, 79°F temp, winds variable 3-12mph typically, 6"x6" steel plate target
Then we can push it out to 1250-1750 yards, WNW to targets, same atmospherics, 24" diameter metal "gong" targets (6" bullseye).
Bring something that doesn't start falling out of the air at 800yds, or you'll be pissing off the neighbors when you start dropping rounds short on their livestock.
I was a natural 25 years ago too. Now I just rely on experience.jord wrote:
So yeah, I'm a natural, let me put 50 rounds down on my own and ill take ya bets. I'm like dilbert, only good at shooting.
And, as I recall, Dilbert is a pistol shooter. I wouldn't bet too much against him with pistols.

Doubt it. Over 30 rounds that sounds a little too good to be true.Dilbert_X wrote:

I assumed you meant firing an entire clip.
EDIT: I can put 50 rounds from an M249 into a 6" grouping at 20 yards

thats a super cool rifle man.
needs a bit of cleaning up, but it should work nicely
Well after a good bit of searching (and cursing) I finally found the missing piece for my WWII combat rifle collection, the German G-43:
Everything matches except for the mag. The stock was sanded and got a small repair at some point long ago but all the markings are still clearly visible, and the bore is in excellent condition with almost no pitting or erosion. Also, as a nice little surprise when I opened the compartment for the cleaning kit in the butt stock I found the original German cleaning and instruction manual for the rifle.
I might post more pics later when I'm not so tired.
