a) Matter of opinion. Members are perm-banned and sometimes people cheer ... members are perm-banned and sometimes people get upset ... sometimes bans aren't even noticed. (No one even seemed to notice that Pace51 was banned, for example).Uzique wrote:

why don't they? - a) the community will die, whether the people you ban are 'antagonists' or not, b) it's just not impartial or objective anymore.
b) Moderators always dialogue about things such as bans to prevent a single moderator from taking out a vendetta, so that a more even-keeled approach is exercised. Even if a rogue moderator does perm ban someone, an admin can overturn a ban. Every ban is reviewed.
