I thought Splice was amazing when I was stoned. Then watched it straight and it was horrible.

It was just a run of the mill Apocalypse movie. Nothing amazing, just a movie that's been done a hundred times.
When it comes to people going mad and becoming "zombies" I think the best I've seen so far is Zombieland. I'm just disappointed it didn't have more good battles.

BTW I actually quite enjoyed it. The aforementioned issue was the only major complaint I had about it. Obviously it was rather clichéd , but then all zombie movies are.
From reading comments on this thread and from watching it. I conclude it should be watched with 2 roommates blowing you while smoking weed and munching on a bucket of fried chicken to make it any good. 5/10

AMC has a series coming out about zombies in the winter. Watch that instead.
