I'll probably be upgrading in the next month or so. What motherboard should I be looking at?

Can't really think of any requirements beside: supports at least 2-way SLI, and ATX form factor.

Is the Gigabyte UD3R sufficient or should I look at something a little more high-end? This will be used for my main PC and probably won't be upgraded for another 3-4 years.

I live in Canada but I've got a friend in the US that can pick up the processor at Microcenter then ship it up (since it's $300 and up here).

The only worry I have about that motherboard is whether there'll still be room for a sound card with a fairly big heatsink

http://www.asus.com/ProductGroup2.aspx? … 4oSEtSu5m#

Dont know if the links work but posting quick incase i get banned

E: i have the P6TD Deluxe (Don't forget the additional D), love it, i don't know if it's still available, i know some of the other P6T boards are still availble.

Also, do the whole, filter google results to discussions when you search the board name.

I had PCI sound card, 2x HD 5870 and huge CPU cooler on P6T Deluxe. Motherboard is shit if it can't even handle a sound card and big CPU cooler same time.
