My pc is using the 8800 gt graphics card, but I'm stuck using an old graphics card driver from over 2 months ago.
Here's the problem, I use Nvidias control panel and stability test programs to keep a check on fan speed and card temperatures of my GPU, when I use the old 197.45 graphics card driver on start up the fan speed on the GPU is set to 30% default and its like this everytime I boot up.
But when I try to update my GPU driver to anything after 197.45 like say the latest one that is 258.96 when I boot up and check fan speed in control panel the fan speed is set to 0, this is worrying because if anyone that uses the PC forgets to check speed on boot up my card will be fried.
I've been in touch with Nvidias support site but as yet have has no luck with solving this problem.
Any help would be fantastic.
