Do they do that though? Because I share an account with a friend of mine, and it's had no trouble for the past 3 years. We both have different IP's at university, use it from computers all over campus, and during the vacations I use it from the Netherlands and he uses it from Spain. I can't really imagine what else I'd have to do to alert them that multiple people are using this account.

Zimmer's has been disabled many, many times.  They might not do it if its infrequent (vacations etc) but his has been disabled quite a few times from what I've heard.

One aspect which confuses a lot of torrent/scene users is why they don’t use the full release name in download titles. On warez networks you will not find tags such as "DVDRip", "HDTV", "720p", "TS", "CAM" etc; codec tags like "XviD", and group names like "IMAGiNE", "NeDiVx" are purposely omitted on the actual network search/browse page.

Nah, I mean I live in the Netherlands and he lives in Spain when we're not at university. We're talking like 4 month periods here. Zimmer is apparently down with the e-cool crowd when it comes to piracy though, so maybe they've changed their policies since he used RS, because it's really not very practical?

This was like... ~6 months ago.  I dont know how it works, maybe if its under a certain number of IPs they dont care since its pretty obvious people share accounts.

Monitoring for simultaneous logons would be the most obvious way.
