We currently have an external HDD with something on there we really need for my band.
I've tried this on my current computer running Windows 7, and my old one running XP.
When I plug it into the USB port it says it's installing, then says it's ready to use. When I go to "my computer" it simply isn't there.
When I look in device manager I can see it with no exclamation mark next to it.
When I look for it in "computer management" it's not there either.
On the HDD is a filmclip that has just been completed, so it could be formatted for a Mac. The only Mac in the house is out of action right now.
Any suggestions?
