Personal Identification Number Number? How to find out my PIN number
I scrambled that and can't remember the order, lolTy wrote:
At a guess I'm going to say it's 5689.
Because it's more convenient not to have to be driven there and have to talk to people to get what I wantunnamednewbie13 wrote:
Why is there even a question of just asking the bank?
I believe that's standard operating procedure for most banks. Personally, I wouldn't want a bank to allow pin changes over the phone. Personal verification information can be got so easily. Having to get it in the mail adds that extra level of security.DBBrinson1 wrote:
I bank with suntrust. They will not let you choose a new pin over the phone, it is mailed to you and takes several days. 1-800-SUN- TRUS.
I fucking hate em.
was it "1337"?I'm Jamesey wrote:
if my pin was bruteforced it'd be guessable within 3 tries probably. They issued me one of the most insecure pins ever

I'd be concerned if you had.max wrote:

We're allowed to have more than 4 numbers, at least for BofA. Easy to remember when the numbers make a combination of words and numbers.max wrote:
anyone should be able to remember 4 random numbers.
So that's what... 24 permutations? That wouldn't be too hard to brute force if you know of a handful of ATMs in the area._j5689_ wrote:

Yeah it's pretty shit. You can change them in England, so I changed my English PIN to match my Dutch one, but then I had to get a new card because it got eaten by an ATM, and they gave me a new PIN for it. So now I have two different PIN's, which is annoying.menzo wrote:

In my recent banking memory, both Wells Fargo and Key Bank had me set my own pin.I'm Jamesey wrote:
