So what's the deal with these "animals" then? I heard they're the only animal on earth without a brain, well wtf is the point in them then?

This has thrown my whole lifes choices into question. I mean if they're not even conscious do I feel bad when they wash up on the beech and kids poke them in the baking sun with sticks?

Do they know in which direction to swim with no brain?

Just baffling.

Jellyfish do not have a brain or central nervous system, but rather have a loose network of nerves, located in the epidermis, which is called a "nerve net".
