I tried installing Osx (not sure which version) on a separate partition awhile ago, but it didn't work due to files missing or something.
When I started my computer up after that, it always asked me whether I wanted to start up the "foreign OS" (Windows 7), or the OsX. Choosing foreign would just boot up W7 normally, but choosing OsX would show a screen saying "please restart computer" after the Apple logo.
If I started it up without the OsX cd in, it would tell me that no OS was detected and made me restart.
I thought deleting the partition and merging it with an existing one would solve the problem, but now if I start without the CD, it tells me to put in a CD with bootable media, or restart. When I put the CD in, it now only gives me the option to go to my main drive with the OsX, but doing that gives me the same result as before (Apple logo followed by "please restart")
Any ideas on how to fully get rid of the OsX and let me just start W7 up normally?
