It's pretty cool to see places that man built just abandoned for years and years and see what nature and time has done to them. It feels like the end of the world and no one survived except you, kind of a creepy feeling.

Enjoy.

Wow...nice find.

This reminds me of a series I just saw not too long ago on the history channel...Life after People, I think.

The 2nd place reminds me of some scenes from 12 Monkeys.

Except for the obvious lack of reality, I allways thought "I am legend" showed what would happen to a city if given enough years...

Seeing manhattan reclaimed by nature can be an sight if done right...

There is a restaurant down the street from me that closed...I find it amazing how fast the weeds took over the entire parking lot.

The Kowloon Walled City, Hong Kong one freaked me out.

"By the early 1980s, Kowloon Walled City had an estimated population of 35,000. The City was notorious for its excess of brothels, casinos, opium dens, cocaine parlours, food courts serving dog meat, and secret factories."

Why would so many people want to live in this pile of shit?

Obviously they did, after it was demolished they all relocated.

They didn't have a choice to not relocate after either.

Living in a shit hole like that would be dirt cheap.

Can't beat the exclusion zone. Yoda's brother likes to explore these kinds of abandoned places, and he's going to pripyat this year. I'm seriously envious.

The city wants to tear it down...but I think it is so beautiful...it needs to be restored.  Detroit has so many gorgeous buildings that are going to ruin.

I want to go to that place in PA. Seems pretty cool. Wonder if they would sell the whole infected plot of land.

Now that i think of it, 50 years of burning?? seems strange...

It showed houses there, wonder if theres anything in those houses to steal? What keeps people from stripping the copper and shit out of them? Or squatting in them?

I think Ghost Hunters / TAPS filmed an episode there. The architect or owner lived in that building even after it was stopped being used as a terminal.

That looks like the building in the first Transformers film. But yeah, they don't build em like that any more. Shame really.
