haha, so went to my sisters first comp last night, she won 1st in her class and overall placed 4th. I think im going to do a BB comp in March. Its the Rocky , smaller show... Would be a good first comp. Need to make up my mind here shortly.
lost 2kg over the last 2 weeks from being ill, back at the gym again though, so should reclaim that pretty quick.
I do a chart with my progress in excercises and weight, I've smashed all my excercises but am just stuck at the same weight. If it doesn't go up by next week I'm gonna skitz blud
when was the last time you switched your exercises? If its been 2+ months I would try changing your regime.

I do it because it makes me feel fitter. I have no proven advice, but I like to do it for the feel good factor, and I do about 10-15mins before a workout to warm up (Zimmer and co. will disagree strongly against doing this, but w/e) and because I cba to do cardio after weights, I just lose the will.
I thought cardio only has it's use after 30 mins or so? Because that's when your glycogen storage is empty or w/e

Like I said, I have no scientific proof what I'm doing is right or w/e but that's what I do. I enjoy doing it that way and I'm not trying to lose fat or w/e so it doesn't bother me.
Usually when bulking cardio isn't needed.

Last year I stayed around 65KGs all year now, but with an increase of muscle mass anyway.

When people say cut/cutting what do they mean anyway? Proper answers plox, none of that lol mek emo faggotry. I wanna go on the proper muscle mode now. No need for me to lose or gain any weight really, just need to hit the workout routines and build up the muscles some more. When one is in a situation like this, what's the best way to go about it?

afaik it's when you have been bulking over the winter so you have a bit of extra fat around from fuelling so much, then you try and reduce the fat for the summer generally - cutting.

Cutting is the process of losing body fat. Typically a cut comes after a bulk. A bulk is when you intake as much food as you possibly can (cleanly) and work out like a psychopath. The goal is to gain as much mass as possible. Then when you cut you lose teh gained fat that came with the muscle and you're left with a monster physique.Mekstizzle wrote:

If you just want to gain muscle mass then simply start working out. Take some of Zimms advice for starting out and you should probably come up with a good sustainable diet plan that will allow you to intake a sufficient amount of protein. I recommend 1G per pound of body weight per day.

Yeah, I don't feel the need to bulk. I probably just need to do the usual then. I'm a cheap ass so I gotta stick to the cheap ass muscle workouts (that means no gym)...did Zimmer write out a guide for starting out or something, I'll check it out but I hope it's not written for some fat ass or skinny stick....

I've been doing a lot of press ups, decline, clapping, army standard, wide arms, etc. I feel it more in my tris than I do pecks.
