Most likely the next time you go into a server and kill someone you will get the promotion. At least that is what happened when i reached sgt.

yeh mine didnt give me the rank up till a few more rounds after i hit 5000, patience my friend it will come, although i know your frustration as i was hanging to unlock my gun.....
