ah i see. there is a cord plugged in that spot leading to the top of the case.. puled it out and it's the AC'97

The four unconnected pins in the top right of the cluster of two-pin connectors? Those would be for PC speaker audio, but if there's no PC speaker in your case, then that's not what you're looking for. The cable connected to F_USB1, you found a similar looking one labeled "AC'97?" This should connect to the F_AUDIO pins located just behind the 3.5 mm audio connectors on the back I/O panel of your motherboard, just above and to the left of the top PCI-E port.

Heh, that should do the trick.
hmm well it was plugged in before when i was getting no "beeps" on startup. working on trying to get it to turn on. http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=139841

Do you have your speakers plugged in to either the front panel or rear I/O shield jacks? You won't get any beeps if they're connected to your sound card.
good call  i plugged them into the back and oh windows sounded so good when i finally got it to boot up.
havent heard a single beep yet tho heh.
