Noob gets basic knife!!!!

Hi all,

I want to brag that I finally got my damn basic knife. I screwed up by giving up prior to my promotion (about 2000 points ago) and so missed out on unlocking a rank but I am not that concerned.

Anyways, it took me 51 minutes to get, going on my stats with a knife, so my question is; how long did it take you guys to get (if you have it)?

about five minutes on a karkand server. for some reason lag is a good thing for knifers

dunno, really. For my expert it took me around 20 minutes

But basic? Around the same time cuz i was a noob at that time!

i never tried untill about 21 000 points 'cos i thought that it would be to hard
but i tried it and it was very easy

I managed to get Veteran Knife without realising it... (as in, I didn't know I was getting it)

It was something of a shock when it popped up

Expert knife though... argh, three times have I come within three kills!

Basic ?

Dont remember, think i used 40 - 50 minutes in the palace on Warlord getting expert knife, or was that expert pistols ?

Either way, its just practice mate, the expert badges seems incredibly hard at first but in the end it aint that bad ......

Five minutes....man I thought you were really good but then I checked your stats and smelt something fishy.

Your worst enemy has killed you 43 times and he happens to have got his basic knife in 47 seconds and hasn't been killed once........................??????????????????????

I apoligise in advance if I am incorrect but the stats are suss.

Same 2 me, i wasnt really playing to get it, somethimes i kill with knive and all of a sudden i had my basic
well, the requirements for basic knive are so low that everybody can get it i think :S

first attempt in the first five minutes of a packed 64 player karkand server went the u.s and camped the spawns knifed em as they spawned.. u may call this cheap but if these guys were smart dey could just spawn at the sqaure an come get me easily .. but nooo =] newbs just kept spawning

Got mine at Kubra... crazy huh? Wasn't trying at first but all of a sudden I had 5 knife kills at the construction site so I went for the gusto. It was kinda cool... I'm just too lazy now to get the vet badge...

I got basic and vet at the same time, i had the global requirments just never the IAR requirments. Expert Knife took about 25 or 30 minutes and i can say i didn't get it on Karkabutt i got it on Kubra.

Btw nice job on the award, now go for expert!

I too am a noob. Don't have my basic nife. Have been focussing on getting my kill/death ration above 1.0 (I believe thats the definition of a noob is it not??). Will have to give it a crack soon. Whammy!!

ill admit in a moment of weakness i statpadded for my basic knife back when i was a n00b, but it took me 30 minutes of runing around on a 32 player sharqi to get my vetran.

Got my Basic and Vet within 20 min of each other. Had the global but not the IAR at the time. It was in a Ghost Town map where everyone for some reason decided to knife fight. Don't know why, it was just a mutual thing. IT WAS NOT A KNIFE ONLY SERVER. No one was kicked if in a vehicle; they just saw the fun and joined in. Aaaahh. That was a great server.

I got my Basic at Wake, which is kinda strange, I got the last guy in the AA at Artillery Island, got a guy capping north village, and got the other 5 at beach. I'd come at them when they were by that little hut and they'd run behind it trying to hide and wait for me, and I'd come around the other side and shank them.

hmm, got basic/vet at same time, in about 5 minutes. got expert in about 12 on karkand. the biggest mistake people make when confronted with a knife man is walking backwards and shooting.
