BF2S Forums Can't patch BF2 on Win7x64

I've tried 3 times now, and every time I try and patch BF2 to 1.41, it tells me there is a patching error.

Here's the order I followed (and was intending to follow)
1. Install BF2 as administrator
2. Install Patch 1.41 as administrator (failed)
3. Install Patch 1.5 as administrator (didnt even bother after 1.41 failed)

What am I doing wrong?  I'm running Windows 7 Home x64.
