Thought I'd let you guys know about this kick ass website. Allows you to watch live tv on your pc/laptop, without needing to download plugins etc.

Has most of the freeview channels, and it's free to register. Just go to www.tvcatchup.com

Also works on ipod/iphone as well. Nothing beats having a crap whilst watching the telly

Enjoy

Yeah, have seen that.

Though you can often watch BBC's stuff live on iPlayer. And we have a Slingbox at home.

Sidenote: Due to a cunningly placed mirror, I used to be able (have changed layout of house now) to watch actual TV while having a crap (with the door open).

BBC, ITV and Channel 4 all have online catch-up.

i watch pretty much 99% of my TV on there when at university. TV license is a ripoff.

I wasn't talking about catch-up. You can watch quite a lot of things in iPlayer live. You can stream (for example) BBC Two all day apart from when they choose to not make a programme watchable live, which happens quite often I think.

Though you're supposed to have a TV license to watch stuff live. It's called simulcasting.

Also, this:
