BF2 was programed by DICE Canada. BF2142 is being programed by Swedes. But seriousely, blame every problem that out there on vedio games. Come on. People who's playing video game, are at home at front of computers and TVs, and not out side commiting crimes.

I hope you understood, that what I was trying to say is that you CAN'T blame video games! And btw, from what I understand, BF2 is developed by swedes, DICE is a swedish company and the lead designer for BF2 is called Lars Gustafsson, a swede. But please DO correct me if I'm wrong! (No flaming intended)

I am so sick and f*****g tired of "The Press" blaming youth violence on video and computer games.  The problem lies NOT with the industry, but the parents who do not pay attention to their kids.  After the Columbine shootings the police whent to one of the shooter's home, all they did was push the door of his bed room open and saw the muzzle of a shotgun peeking out from under the kid's bed.  No search, just a glance from the hall.  Where the Hell were Mom & Dad?

My kid's been playing shooters since Wolfenstein 3D (yes I got him started early).  And guess what?  He hasn't killed anybody yet.  However, can I go ahead and blame his great grades, insane musical ability and generally great outlook on computer & video games?  No, no one cares.  All they want to read about are the MINORITY of the kids who randomly scrawl "BF2 ROCKS!" in their notebooks, forget to take their meds and go beat the neighbor's dog with a stick.

This is NOT a video/computer game industry problem - this is a (LACK OF) PARENTING problem.

I absolutely agree, and have even said this myself several times.  While members like Horseman77 like to label me a "liberal", my biggest gripe about where this country has gone is that there is no longer any personal responsilbity.  It's just easier to point the finger somewhere else.  It was the video games, or the TV, or the music, etc.
