i know there is a similar post around here somewhere, maybe more but id thought id tell my story.

Most of the times I play i do it either with assault, sniper or anti-tank, my view is that anti-tank kit is by far the most entertaining to play with. but it has its flaws. for example, after dishing out many rounds on a tank the driver can escape the tank and thus robbing you of your well earned points, I dont play for the points really but its very annoying when stuff like that happens, afterall everyone wants to do good and wants to be in the score sheet.

my idea is therefor, that you would get points for blowing veichles up. now, I dont mean neutral veichles, i mean a veichle that has been in the hands of the enemy recently.

im talking about seconds, a veichle that has been used by the enemy within the previous 3 seconds will be tagged as an enemy veichle (ofcourse the timeframe is discussable). this would mean that you can finally get those hard earned points for actually bringing down a tank or something else.

i mean, the advantage of bringing a mammoth like that on the run would well be worth 1 point.

the other is the not so frequent kill damage assist point you (almost never) get when someone else blows up the veichle you have been picking on. the kill damage assist would be awarded if you do at least say, 25% damage on the veichle in question.

this is a feature i would love to see, please share your views.

i see liam, i kinda like the idea, maybe get more points from planes, but lets take that discussion in that thread

@ polarbearz i guess u - karma is well earned judging by the rude approach.

i got an opinion and i want to state it, i cannot be hassled to look thru 100 pages to find a thread that has the same content, and what would the search words be? anti-tank? im quite sure i would find other things that just this one.

in the end im just a fella who wants to contribute to this great community and maybe to EA. if you dont like it, dont bother posting in my thread.

Jmm here's my idea: split the points!
2 points for the kill itself( if the guy bails and runs, bad luck)
2 points for the tank/apc and 1 for a jeep as bonus, given only to infantry, awarded to those that did most damage on said vehicle. Bonus is awarded if vehicle is in enemy hands on was in enemy hands in the last 10 seconds.
This way, there is more motivation to kill the vehicle, and no more points are given to the tank/jet/chopper guys, as someone in the other topic stated.

I like to see points for destroying a vehical but it has to be occupied!
Unfortunatly that means if the guy bails before it blows up no points. You have to remember that vehicals are basically neutral until occupied. Yes each army has specific vehicals compared to the opposing but any team can jump in them. If you award points for an empty vehical then everyone would just go around blowing up empty vehicals for the points.

bmas, thats my idea, make veichles "tagged" by whoever occupuies them. and when they ditch the veichle in question it will still be tagged for that faction the following 3-5 seconds, or whatever timeframe is best.

that way blowing up spawning veichles or empty veichles wont give you anything except low ammo

I like the idea. It would not have to be more than 1 or 2 seconds and not be more than 1 point, and not for transport class vehicles, but it would be something!

I was playing karkland the other day, the squad I was in were on a roll for a few mins and then a tank came along! One of the guys who had just died came back as AT and after a couple of hits made the tank retreat for repairs. He stayed as AT for the rest of the round, and did a great job of giving us cover fire from vodniks and tanks, but while the rest of the squad got 80+ points he was left on 30ish because the firepower at medium\long range is not enought to get decent points when there are also support, medic, asault, or spec ops in a squad. It seemed a little unfair.

Get out your pistol and finish off the driver. Boom! Kill point. But I have to say that most of the time, a tanker will sit in his tank until the very end, so he can spawn with a fresh replacement.
