Toy Story 3
9/10
I didn't think it was as funny as the previous two, but it certainly had the warm and fuzzy factor by the end.

Inception (greeks are always late to the party)

Scott Pilgrim
10/10 - I am pretty sure it's now a favourite film of mine.
Just... Wow. So fucking awesome. It was made perfect.
I said to my friends afterwards, usually when we see a film, we say stuff like "Oh, it'd be awesome if this had happened, or that" etc. but with this film, it all happened.
Just... Perfect.

500 days of summer
Second time I watched it, and I was way more impressed this time
9/10
Everything you want in a romance flick, but very unique, and the casting is brilliant.

Boogie Nights 9/10
Sunshine.
Dunno about this one. Had a really good grove going, all mysterious. Then it went all a bit too much Event Horizon, together with some major holes. All in all I´d say it was good, but it seemed to not be sure whether to be a psycho drama or some horror movie.

I agree. Started off great, but then degenerated into typical sci-fi horror thriller trash. Oh well, was still fun for most of it, and had some great set pieces and visuals.Sisco wrote:

Yeah, the visuals blew my mind. I was actually jealous at the guys for being able to enjoy such a view. The score was pretty good too.mtb0minime wrote:

I enjoyed it and some parts were really tense. I just got the feeling that it would go more into the direction of Solaris, with all the philosophical/esoteric babbleing about sunlight enveloping one and darkness being a vacuum and all that.
Sunshine definitely got rather ridiculous towards the end.
The Men Who Stare At Goats
8/10
Kinda wtf'd throughout, but also lol'd at parts. Bonkers film tbh.
