But yes, I've had that happen to me before, where the missiles obviously DON'T get a hit on my tailpipes but blows near my flares and I die and I see the empty but perfectly intact plane spinning back to earth. I'll try to get a screenie WITH the grey plane 'model' on the mini to prove it was intact.

Funnier tho, is having your TV missile blow up right in front of an enemy chopper due to lack of range and killing either the pilot, gunner, or both

yeah, the tv still does damage to them though if it's as close as you mean.  yesterday i got one so close i could make out the face of the pilot.  it had to be literally like a couple inches away before it detonated.  what i hate about that though is it would've went right through anyway.  if you get a head on tv shot face to face with the other chopper it goes through a large percentage of the time.  only place it seems to take out the other chopper is the rear parts of it's body.

I've done it to myself plenty of times, when the enemy jet starts slowing down and I'm gunning at him, I have the nose of my jet right up to his afterburners, and the splash damage of my nose cannon takes self down :'(

Looking at your signature, are you someone that switches to chinese to get the J10? Pfft you aint no pilot...no offence if i'm wrong but your signature (those quotes) state that. Personally i don't blame you, i blame DICE for creating this imbalance.

Thats right! Take a close look at the F-18 its in tact the last missile shot me out!!! Has anybody else had this happen to them? Ever?
hahahahha, i remember that round, i owned you there, i cant remember that. hmm, i think he hit you through the glass with his MG, yeah, that is what happened. it has happened to me in the chopper and the plane

Rockets usually land on the tail, he prolly hit you with mg fire. I have had a give and take on the same issue, it's usually blind luck.
