OK, so I've built my new PC, put everything in just like I am supposed to. Double-checked to make sure the RAM was in nice and tight and the status light for the RAM on the motherboard lights up and shows steady, no problems there.

Here's a quick parts listing:
ASUS M4N75TD
ASUS GTX460
AMD X6 1055T

The CPU is seated properly, the monitor gets power, the GPU spins up and gets warm. The CPU fan runs, the case fan runs. My keyboard has lights that don't seem to come on, so I don't know if the USB ports are working even? It's a Microsoft Sidewinder X4. Everything is literally brand new, I got it all from the shop today.

What happens when I turned the monitor on is the thing shows the LG logo and then splashes a tiny window that says "Digital" and in the next line of the same window is the message "Power Saving Mode". I have buttons for FUN (whatever that is), Menu, f-Engine, Source, Auto/Set.

Anyone got any ideas? Like I said, the GPU fan spins up and the heatsink gets warm so that means it is working, right? When clicking the case power button, the fans spin up for a second and then stop and then start going and run without any issues. I assume this is normal?

Yea, I saw your thread, too, but none of your stuff helped me.

What I ended up doing was taking the RAM out, putting only one stick in, the first stick didn't get a beep or anything so I turned it off and tried the other. Got a beep. Put the other stick that didn't receive a beep in the second slot and got a beep again. Seems to be running just fine now. Installing Windows 7 off the USB stick. Hot tip for you M4N75TD: to get to boot from the USB stick, just beat the shit out of your F8 key as soon as you press the power button so you can select the device to boot from. Took me a few minutes to figure this one out...

Works for most mobos, you can also just hold it down to save your keyboard.
I'd type my pc specs out all fancy again but teh mods would remove it. Again.
