you could have made a film about dreams, the subconscious and dreams-within-dreams WITHOUT the global capitalism/energy political bullshit.

Guaranteed Luc Besson action. Travolta brings his Travolta.
Perhaps the most succinct and accurate movie review I've seen.  Ever.

'If you liked John Travolta in Pulp Fiction, you'll absolutely love him in...  well.. everything he's done since 1994.  It's the same damn character, in a new suit'

The Expendables - 7/10

(would be 8.5 if Stallone had any idea how to direct action sequences - what is going on with the whole cutting every half a second during action sequences thing?)

Vampires Suck - 7/10

Laughed a lot in the beginning, kind of went on a bit near the end, but overall a good, funny film.

If you hate Twilight, you'll probably love the jokes and insults.

If it didn't make fun of anything other than Twilight, I'll pass. There's so many opportunities to poke fun at vampires from OTHER films.

It was basically the story of the first two books/films, but how someone who hated it would tell it.

Meh. I was hoping for a Scary Movie sort of thing that would make fun of a grab-bag full of vamp flicks. I'm going to go watch 'Dracula: Dead and Loving It.'

Movie would have been funny enough WITHOUT having to see a man wank. 3/10 just for that.

Oh, come one. Aliens were pretty stupid and they overdid it a bit with his son, but apart from that it was a solid Indy. At least worth a fiver.

Crystal Skull wasn't a bad movie. For some reason, it just didn't live up to rosy-expectations from nostalgia-struck Indy fans. Even South Park made fun of the exaggerated reactions to it.

I'm kind of glad they closed the book on the old trilogy's centerpiece (religion) and moved on to something else (aliens). Which one's more improbable? Spirits melting your face, a thousand-year-old man sitting in a cave with a bunch of jugs or aliens who fucked up and got stuck on earth?

Meh.

Initially when I first saw this movie, I really liked it.
However, after watching it the 2nd time around, it lost it's appeal.
IMO this movie is only watchable for a few times and you are done with it.

Salt - 8/10. Angelina Jolie could have got nakeder, otherwise not bad.

Four Lions 7/10. Some funny bits, most of them in the trailers though. Quite thoughtful in some ways.
