Does it bluescreen when you load the gpu with furmark or similar. Your gpu may just be dead.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

You might actually want to rollback the drivers to an earlier version.  I had a hell of a problem with the latest drivers for my old 8800gtx, and i found using a version that was about 2 releases older was much more stable.

I would also try to remove any drivers you might have installed recently. Go in safe mode.

Done that, also tried roll back didn't seem to help, problems seem to be getting worse.

After I reinstall driver PC seems fine for a couple of days than it starts freezing and blue screening again.

type the stop error in the search bar. if you really want to isolate it, install the SDK and run the debugger. it will tell you the faulting driver.

Could also be a failing PSU or optical drive

i tried this when i was getting the bsod while playing l4d2... it would constantly reference the nvlddmkm.sys file, which was the video driver.  it gave me no other information, which was frustrating to say the least.  i found the debugger works great for microsoft-created program crashes, i.e. Outlook, but i think third party software has to have that level of error trapping built-in.  microsoft has actually provide some pretty helpful error checking tools, but no one cares enough to actually have it work with their software.

what i've found is it's worth the trouble to read the crash dump and narrow it down. when you're running some of the apps we have here, that have hardware locks and software drivers, the debugger gets you in the ballpark. and, you don't need to even have it on the offending machine - i copy the dump to the network, go back to my workstation, and run it there . . .

format c:\

Seriously. You will spend countless hours screwing around. Format, then Reinstall your OS. Then if it is still blue screening you know its a hardware issue for sure. If so, take all your ram, sound cards etc out. Start up with one ram stick and graphics card and add all the rest one at a time and it should point at the problem if its hardware.
Also if your PC is beeping on boot up the beeps might identify the problems if you reference them in your mobo manual.

Well looks like the card is at fault been running my pc with an old 8600gt and no crashes for 3 days now.

Anyone recommend me a good graphics card for around £50 to £60, something that will run RTS and Wow?

Any help most welcome.
