I was playing SF map Ghost town. was a comander, with engeneer kit and staying in my main base.
I was paicing UAV, scanning and sppoting evryone.. doing an all time comander job, when i was kicked for: 1 min idle time!! it is true, i wasnt moving but with open comander screen moving my mouse non stop.
i thing or there was a bug or an abusive admin who wont to be a comander.

What do you think??

ummm, might be a server settings or an admin. Most likely it is an admin decision because I do not think that acting as a commander counts for idling. I have played many games on servers that kick for idling and I never was kicked when I was a commander. Sorry.

ouch could be a mistake by the admin. Commanders arent much of the movers.

As commander you can not be kicked for idle when your in your command screen. I don't know if it's the same for being idle without it up.

At least I have never been counted as idle by BF2CC the few times we tried to test it. Being commander also stops you from being kicked for being idle in ground/air defence.

The auto kick from servers with idle kick disabled is 5 minutes (i.e. punkbuster steps in). So it HAD to have been an admin doing it. Weather it was admin abuse or mistake will forever be unknown >_>
