my dad lives in Montpellier- it's in the centre, pretty much, and has a large amount of the town's regency architecture.

charles dickens called it the "most beautiful town" and part of all england

and ye m8, get to the south. i went on the motorway with a sign to 'The North' once but i got all afraid halfway up cause the sky turned grey and stormclouds whipped up, and all i could see was bleak concrete landscapes and stark, towering factory pinnacles, so i did a pretty fast u-turn in the first-lane and came back, double-speed. i was sweating all the way and i forever swore to never venture into those badlands again. amen.

haha tell me about it. it's been sunny here the last week, but that's it since June. not just that, the council estates everywhere and the people that go with those = shite. the people i know here are the only thing keeping me here. i'll just have to stay in the country.
