Anyone tried the '300 workout' program?
It's like
And you're meant to do it in about 20mins.
I'm going to start doing the '150 Workout' about once a week and see where I go.
It's like
- 25 pull-ups
- 50 Box jumps (knee high)
- 50 Deadlifts (60kg)
- 50 Press-ups
- 50 Floor sweeps (60kg) *EDIT: I'm not sure about this one, been told a different exercise to what the internet seems to suggest*
- 50 exercises where it's a clean and press but with a single dumbbell for a single arm (16kg)
- 25 more pull-ups
And you're meant to do it in about 20mins.

Its very hard to do 25 pull ups in one sitting, arms fully extended...
I didn't say it was easy.
50 Press ups maybe. Everything else is near enough impossible at 50 reps.PrivateVendetta wrote:

I mean very hard, the rest isn't as bad. I'm quite strong for my weight as I'm light, I could do the 50 press ups just about, I couldn't do more than 10 proper pull ups though.
Like I said, it's not meant to be easy.
Some of the Gym instructors tried the 300 workout on their first attempt and one guy almost fainted because he was trying too hard to beat 20mins.
So I'm going to start at half reps, and smaller weights. There is no way I'm doing floor sweeps with a 60kg bar. I can barely hold that thing straight.

Even with little to no weight it's still not possible in 20 mins. Been getting stretch marks recently on a week where I did just pull-ups.
only thing i could do there is the 50 press ups!
And probably the 50 deadlifts at 60kg

Workout today fucking sucked
Knee went dodgey on my warm up, so that threw cardio out the window. 15 minutes into weights and I started getting a spasm up my left arm. Probably due to overtraining. Seriously pissed.

So stop being a dumbass and doing more weight than you can handle.
Nah just overtraining. Been to the gym about 6 times in the past week.
Could be dehydration as well. How much water you drinking a day?
Probably not enough. Drink fuckloads during workouts though, had a litre before the spasms.
Spasms as in muscle twitches?
I've had twitches on and off for about 4 years, its not physical pain but it can really fuck up your sleep.

Felt sorta like I was getting a very weak electrocution localised in my left arm. Only happened when putting the arm under strain.
Not sore, but kinda scary when you've got 12.5KG above your face.

Drink more Gatorade, it has electrolytes.
Oh well I know nothing about that then, my twitches are differant.Finray wrote:

12.5KG in each hand, I do maybe 8-10 reps/ 3-4 sets.
